Alejandro Bonatto was born in Argentina where he trained in music and theatre.

He graduated with honours from the Art Institute of Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and obtained an MA in Composition from Kingston University in London. He was subsequently a scholar at the Goethe Institute in Berlin.

He has created soundtracks for feature films (7 Minutes, El silencio de los objetos Behind the mask), incidental music for theatre productions, contemporary dance pieces, as well as an opera, La Casa de Max.

He was awarded the first prize at the Ideaf Music Festival, Opera de Camara del Teatro Colon Directors Competition and obtained a mention on the Trinac Music Composition Contest.

He has published two albums: El Silencio de los Objetos (OS) and Blued Voices.
